We are happy to announce the 2013 HBHC Open Horse Show High Point Program. We will be having 4 open shows for this year’s program with a total of 4 judges, which will allow each rider a “drop” judge. Show dates will be:
May 12, 2013, Sponsored by HBHC, JUDGE: Michelle Hoffmeister
June 16, 2013, Sponsored by Redwood Acres Fair and HBHC,
DOUBLE JUDGED: Denny Hansen/Vernon Lawrence

August 4, 2013, Sponsored by HBHC, JUDGE: Victoria Melshaw
This show season comes with the addition of new categories to appeal to diverse groups of equestrians in our area. There is the Dressage Suitability in hand and all ages on the rail division. Country Casual is a more relaxed division that can be shown in English or Western attire which includes a specialty fun class, western pleasure, western horsemanship, and trail.
We have created a very unique halter class called Pasture Pals which is open to any breed of horse despite lameness, age, deformities, blemishes etc. The horse and handler will be judged on their presentation, grooming (braiding and clipping optional) and manners, not soundness. This class is designed for you to show off that special horse in your life.
Be sure to become a member of the HBHC to ensure that the points that you earn during the show season will count towards high point year end awards. Click here for the membership form!
Looking forward to seeing you in the show ring!__________________________________________________________
Work Hours For 2013 Hi-Point Show Series
In an effort to continue to improve our program and club, we are requiring that all persons and owners who sign
up for high point work four hours as part of their eligibility for year-end awards. There is a $50.00 fee for all Hi-PointRiders in lieu of the four work hours. Payment must be made before the start of the second show to be held June 16th. Please fill out the 2013 Work Hours form and return it to one of the officers.
